Hey guys I’m back with another update for you! Last week we spoke about starting an Omnilux 10 session journey at a beauty salon called Beauty on Park (see their website https://www.beautyonparkst.com.au/ ). My main goal was to improve my skin (which had recently been dry and getting breakouts – something I had never really experienced before this month). Today we explore what session 3 and session 4 of Omnilux has done so far.
If you’re unsure of what Omnilux is it is basically a non invasive LED light facial therapy. You can read about the full information on Omnilux in my first post here http://seraphinafox.com/2018/08/03/omnilux-journey-session-1-2/
Keziah, the owner of Beauty on Park salon told me that Omnilux would really help with my main concern regarding pore size. Naturally with being combination skin my nose area produced a lot more oils and this is what basically causes an increase in nose pore sizes for me. With basic face care at home and regular Omnilux treatments I’ll be able to slowly decrease the level of oil production in the nose area and reduce the appearance of my pores.
So last week we spoke about my first two sessions and how I immediately felt the difference in skin smoothness. After the third and fourth session something I found really interesting is that the barrier of my skin was still quite sensitive. I think the travelling and general lack of care during travelling has really taken a toll on my skin because this was the first time I’ve experienced such sensitivities on my face. It literally felt like burning when any serum was put on my face so I’ve since had to stop the use of serums until my skin barrier repairs itself. This is what I love about Beauty on Park salon they really take the time to analyse your skin and every session with them isn’t just a cookie cut mould it is so tailored based on how your skin reacts and what your skin needs. For example recently I have had so many clinics recommend microdermabrasion but at Beauty on Park they noted that my skin was too sensitive to undergo this treatment and that it would do more damage to my skin if I did it now.
So after session three and four I definitely still feel my skin sensitivities but I can see my skin is slowly becoming more plump and refreshed looking. As seen above that’s pretty much my face after 4 sessions of Omnilux at https://www.beautyonparkst.com.au/ and it’s definitely starting to look smoother.
Am super excited to keep you updated on this journey as I will be doing an Omnilux session every TWO days! 🙂 Let me know if you too have experienced or are doing Omnilux light therapy. I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences surrounding this!
