Hey guys it’s been a while since I’ve updated you but it’s because I’ve been working hard on my youtube channel launch! Something I did recently was investigate my skin under a microscope (see video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqFjPisMuSY its basically so gross haha especially the blackheads! I WAS SHOOK). After doing the microscope challenge on my skin I felt like I wanted to improve my skin (I was getting breakouts, dry and oily combination skin and just in general wasn’t feeling great about my skin). I came across a beauty salon called Beauty on Park (see their website https://www.beautyonparkst.com.au/ ) and they offered this treatment called Omnilux light therapy.
Omnilux LED light facial therapy is a non-invasive treatment that works by stimulating the skin’s cellular activities and functions when exposed to the light. Their interaction leads to a photo response making the cells “think” and “act” younger, resulting in collagen synthesis and healing. Basically, Keziah, the owner of Beauty on Park salon told me that Omnilux treatments help bring our skin renewal cycle back to the 14 day cycle. If you think about it when we are young when we get a scar/scab it usually heals pretty fast, even when you get sunburnt it heals a lot faster when you are younger and that is simply because our skin renews at a much faster rate of 14 day cycles. As we grow older the cycle takes longer and longer to renew and that’s why you see more sun damage or scarring is more evident. With Omnilux LED light therapy you’re able to stimulate your skin to work at the faster pace. It allows your skin to produce more collagen and renew.
I decided to take a 10 session journey with Beauty on Park salon to see how much better my skin could be after the 10 sessions and also to see how different it might look under the microscope after the 10 sessions.
Recently I had my first two sessions and immediately I could already feel the difference in how much more smooth the skin is after one day. Am super excited to keep you updated on this journey as I will be doing an Omnilux session every TWO days! 🙂 Let me know if you too have experienced or are doing Omnilux light therapy. I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences surrounding this!
